The Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History needed a landmark event to celebrate how our past connects to our present and shapes our future. In creating a transformative, pre-historic world for guests to captivate their imagination, the opening events of the David H. Koch Hall of Fossils brought guests to a world in which our past can help guide our future.
The National Cherry Blossom Festival has been a global phenomenon since 1912, bringing more than 1.6 million people to Washington, D.C. each year to revel in the city’s beauty and experience the culture that sets D.C. apart from the rest of the nation. Since 2008, Linder has been proud to be the partnering events agency of the Festival and a driving force in its continued success.
Since its establishment by an Act of Congress in 2003, the National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC) has represented a critical portal through which to view America’s history. Over the course of four years, Linder managed the planning, production, and execution of multiple NMAAHC events.
The Pink Tie Dinner Party is the signature fundraising event for the National Cherry Blossom Festival. For the first time, the party was a seated dinner style event with a reception cocktail hour before and after dinner. The event gathers 400 guests for an evening of entertainment, sponsor activations, and local culinary excellence.
On July 20, 1969, humans walked on the moon for the first time. Fifty years later, Linder worked side by side with the Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum to bring to life the historic “one small step for man, and one giant leap for mankind” moment.
The annual White House Correspondents’ Dinner weekend brings together high-profile politicians, journalists, and celebrities for exclusive parties and signature events. In 2022, CNN held an invite-only brunch themed “From the White House to the World” at the AutoShop in the Union Market District, celebrating CNN as the leader in global news to close out the weekend.
