Linder Global Events, a certified B-Corp event management agency, partnered with the Clean Energy Buyers Association (CEBA) to deliver multi-year summits, drive a successful rebrand, lead sustainable event innovations, and maximize member, sponsor, and stakeholder engagement at scale.
Bringing the Experience to Life
From 2021–2024, Linder Global Events provided multi-year consulting and event management for CEBA’s annual Connect Summits. In addition to managing the rebrand from REBA to CEBA and elevating corporate conference design, Linder wove actionable sustainability solutions throughout every stage of event planning. The team collaborated with clients to prioritize LEED-certified and energy-efficient venues, such as the Seattle Convention Center Summit Building. It employed best practices, including composting programs, digital signage, vegetarian menus, and thoughtful design, in partnership with local organizations. By quickly troubleshooting issues such as escalator delays and composting confusion (by adding educated staff), Linder advanced both the attendee experience and ecological impact. Each summit showcased immersive brand experiences, forward-thinking sponsorship activations, and innovative sustainable solutions to support CEBA’s organizational mission and the planet.

- Drove sustainable site selection with venues like the Seattle Convention Center (Summit Building), featuring power-saving infrastructure, composting, and green banquet practices. 
- Reduced event waste and resource use with composting, plastic-free single-use items, flexible linen policy, and detailed attendee education for effective recycling and composting. 
- Enhanced attendee value and digital engagement by transitioning to conference apps and digital signage, minimizing printed materials, and streamlining information access. 
- Supported vegetarian menu planning and partnered with local scenic vendors for living backdrops, then donated decor plants post-event to community fundraisers. 
- Provided on-site troubleshooting and attendee education to optimize sustainability programs and participant experience—for example, quickly adding extra staff to educate guests around composting bins. 
- Enabled record-setting hybrid summits (535 in-person, 242 virtual in Detroit 2022), oversaw mission-aligned rebranding, and drove 10% membership growth and annual sponsorship goals. 
- Offered scalable corporate conference and sponsorship revenue strategies while aligning with CEBA’s brand vision, sustainability values, and B-Corp designation.
