The National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade
On Saturday, April 13, 2019, the National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade hit DC’s iconic Constitution Ave. This springtime tradition is one of the grandest events of the month long National Cherry Blossom Festival. Highlights included marching bands, elaborate floats, and enormous helium balloons, including Brainy Smurf escorted by the Linder Team!
The parade was led by Grand Marshal Anthony Anderson, star of ABC’s black-ish, and featured performances by Todrick Hall, Cece Peniston, Rayshun LaMarr, Christina Wells, the Washington Redskins Cheerleaders and so many more! The parade had 5,000 participants while over 100,000 attended in person (double the projected 50,000 attendees) and thousands more watched as it was nationally televised. Linder has sponsored, produced, and handled logistics for the parade for over a decade and are a proud partner of the National Cherry Blossom Festival.
