More Praise for National Cherry Blossom Festival’s Pink Tie Party
Pink Tie Party, held this year on March 22nd, is the official kick off to the National Cherry Blossom Festival’s month-long schedule of events. This stylish, see and be seen party sets the tone for the season and raises funds to support the Cherry Blossom Festival programming throughout the spring. The party was hosted at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center and featured a Silent Auction, food highlighting DC’s culinary scene with local restaurants and chefs, sponsorship lounges, live entertainment and art, and over-the-top-decor. One of the many activations features a server on a glammed-out tricycle serving drinks to guests. The act provided by Skylark Creative Group is called the “Pedal n’ Pour Penny-farthing”.
This year’s party created lots of buzz and continues to receive accolades from news sources like BizBash.
