Saluting our National Parks
Every day National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA) works tirelessly to ensure that the national parks of America receive the vital care and support they require to thrive. For nearly a decade, NPCA has entrusted Linder to create and produce an event that celebrates America’s national parks, calls attention to their needs, and recognizes individuals and organizations whose impact on the system and dedication to the national parks deserve attention.
Linder, in partnership with NPCA, is tasked with creating an unforgettable experience for over 300 guests at the National Building Museum for their annual Salute to the Parks event. Each year, Salute to the Parks not only incorporates that year’s theme but is also conscious of the environment. Through careful planning, year after year, we have been able to achieve NPCA’s goals and maintain a high quality and creative event experience for all of their guests. Through the years, many park pioneers have been honored, including documentary director and producer Ken Burns, best selling author Douglas Brinkley, and Max Slavkin and Aaron Perry-Zucker of the Creative Action Network.
This year, NPCA’s planning team decided it was time to break out of the mold of their traditional seated dinner format and try something new. By extending the reception time and reducing the program time, guests were allowed the opportunity to network, mingle and enjoy the various sponsor activations throughout the interactive space. Linder has been a proud partner of NPCA on their annual Awards Gala for the 9th consecutive year and counting.
