Helping Anacostia’s children reach their full potential
Each year, Home Runs for Horton’s Kids brings together hundreds of families to raise funds for the vital services the organization provides to the children of D.C.’s Anacostia neighborhood. The event – an evening at Nationals Ballpark complete with carnival games, on-field batting, outfield catching, and races against President Teddy – consistently provides Horton’s Kids with a stellar messaging platform mere blocks away from the community they serve. Since 2008, Linder has been proud to be the partnering events agency of Horton’s Kids and a key component in the continued success of their fundraising events, including Home Runs beginning in 2010. Through our strategic guidance, the Horton’s Kids team has begun to think bigger, achieve greater, and unfailingly motivate their ever-expanding crowd.
Drawing over 1,000 participants, including many congressmen and women, Home Runs for Horton’s Kids remains an inspirational example of how a small non-profit can reach and grow a diverse audience of supporters –and how Linder can foster that growth. From inception to execution, Linder’s team ensures that this signature fundraiser exceeds and redefines organizational goals and attendees’ expectations.
